I don't know if this is the appropriate place but I'll give it a shot, and figured I'd share it with you guys.

I called Bergstrom's yesterday to inquire about his fine products, and talked to a nice lady. I asked some questions. She took my info, and said I should speak with Scott. I did and he was awesome. We talked shims, and bumpers, and carbides, and ski savers, and contours and whatnot.
He was running low on carbide, and couldn't send me anything right away, but said he would send me some shims for free in the meantime anyway. Then he remembered that the 2000 & 2001s had different bumpers and didn't need the shims. Said he thought my bumpers were probably just worn out, and ended up sending me 2 sets of ski bumpers....with the big "S" on them.....FOR NOTHING!!! One for me and my buddy.
On top of that, the shipping tag on the box said $25.05!!!
I started adding this up in my head. Nearly $20/each for the bumpers. x4 + shipping. This man who doesn't know me from Adam, basically just gave me over $100 and I hadn't spent a nickle on any of his products yet.

THAT, my friends, is going WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I would EVER have thought ANYONE would go to get, or keep anyone's business. He could have sent me just the shims and I'd have been thrilled to just get something for free. He doesn't go the extra mile, he goes the extra 100!!!

Unless he goes out of business, I will never even think of spending one red cent on anyone else's carbides.

Thanks again Scott, you just gained a life customer.

there ya go,he sent me new bumpers too,ill never buy anything else after running these and show em to my riding buds, if they want to waste there time with something else oh well.

Absolutely and his carbides wear like no tomorrow too.I bought a second hand pair off eBay years ago and couldn't believe how much wear I got out of them let alone what the original buyer got.

This is the icing on the cake of why i buy his carbides. Scott is the man and im glad you also had a great experience with his customer service. Wait till you try his carbides you will be amazed!!!

Scott has been running his own independent shop since the 70's He is getting up there and loves his customers and has dealt with a few generations of customers. His original design of hard wild surfacing out lasted 4 sets of anybody's standard wear bear. He only improved his design over the years, got into making carbides and then his triple points with a few other products.

He is like the TURK of carbides. His conversations are never boring on the phone when you call to order or just ask questions. Other major brands fear him..
