Hey i had to pull my carbs off due to the carb drain screw falling out when riding.
Took 2 of the carb bowls off and reinstalled (had to match the screw at a friends) Now it won't start, i almost had it but no dice.
Any tricks to get her going?

I always pull my plugs and pull about 10 times and put em back in.
Tried that, plugs looked wet, shot them with compressed air and sanded them abit and tried again without sucess.. then i gave up because cranking 30+ times sucks lol

Try new plugs. if they're wet than your getting fuel

A little premix down the cylinders usually works on a tired arm...

See if you can turkey baster some out of the oil tank....dont know if straight gas will hurt any oil film on the cylinders id think it would be ok for the small amount youll use.lsbufis said:teaspoon of gas in cylinders? don't have any premix unfortunately,

I usually use the cap to a plastic pop bottle per cylinder...

Just throwing this out there.. I take my carbs off to clean them and never have a problem fireing her up after. I know you said your plugs were wet but is it flooding itself out? Maybe something got stuck in the carbs? Just a thought..
Got her started 1st shot with abit of premix as suggested, she's purring like a kitten now!
thanks

I've always used the pre mix right in the cylinder. Fires every time. Some times I will use my chain saw and weed wacker pre mix if I don't have any around.
Another thing i'm not sure of, my throttle cable adjuster just seems to freeturn even if i tighten the locknut, same result i don't know if i need a new bracker or throttle cable....

as long as the threads are in good shape, squeese the threaded plate slightly with big pliers..just a tad and then take the right tap size and run it thru.Mine ended up being striped as long as the nut,so I ordered a new throttle cable.Try that trick first.
