man its nuts out here with the new snow...Had the 600 out today and the snow was deep everywhere.Almost started the ride wrong. After about 5 miles along the small River here and connecting to the big River..almost sunk her to my neck. Was climbing up the Floodway embankment..I knew at the last second..no way..hit the thick powder(4 feet at least thick) I new I was done..it was pinned and got to get the sled to pull right off the climb and right to the bar it took me like 30 feet to get out, there was no way in hell I was gonna get stuck today..close one.Hit the main River and she has easily 8 to 12 inches fresh powder. It is almost 0C today..you do the math.REAL SUGAR LIKE.Can't complain about this 600.I actually had her pinned for a good 7 miles at 8500 wot..cruising at 120 km/hr.I knew this was hard on the clutch's but kept her going. Finally let off a bit in around 8000-8200 the rest of the way.How can you complain about a Yami triple 600 pinned for that long and no failure....one hell of a motor I would say. Then hit the hill climbs, that was mint. The ditch's going back were drifted one side 4 to 5 feet thick. That was fun,but could not stay on there long enough each time because the back end was dropping in,speeds slowing down.So nailed them length wise as long as I didn't slow down to get stuck and off and back on..This is the best snow for the season..but hard to ride in this stuff. The SRX would of been stuck and I would of been walking home 5 miles for sure.
My gas mileage was bad today of course.Love ther way that redhead just takes it wot..if that was a cat or doo..motor would have grenaded I bet ..lol

lucky you doug, all that fresh powder to play in . We have been bombarded with rain and today it finally froze again but now it's so icy and rough you need studs just to keep cool. send a ft of pow our way lol. glad this year has been better for ya. we usually have a good march but so far it's been shitty. should have the srx going tomorrow, been waiting for power valves cables for a few weeks and my primary was binding, swapped it out and tomorrow will get a test run.hopefully it works cause i'm tired of #$%&* with it. take care and drive safe.

thanks.Rain would suck right now for sure here.We will have a lot of water from the melt, but will not be big enough to create a major Flood .One area in Manitoba got 56 cm's of snow,we got about 20 cms..supposed to get a little cooler next few days, still -6 for Saturday and then from there 0 and 1 C Monday..so maybe the warm stuff is coming slowly.Best time to ride will be early mornings when it is crisp out before the Sun comes up.I sure need to long track my 600..will look into it with extensions and what a new track will cost.My track needs replacing soon anyways.
Watch the ice out your way..

sorry to hear that.Yeah I figure in my yard around 8 inch's at least, can't complain.I wish some it it was a little earlier in the season. When it is warmer out,the snow is less fluffy, harder to ride in..
