That's cool, do they even have snowmobile registration in North Carolina?
Here is a pic of the snow here in upper Michigan its 4 to 5 feet deep in the good spots.

I lived in Ashville from 86-90 and remember we would always get snow during the winter. even snowed in nashville when i was a grasshopper in the early 80's.

Now I live in Maine and havent seen winters like it we had 15-20 years ago

great pics. . would love to get back down that way and ride my bike through the BRM's.

Have any of you been to The Tail of the Dragon over in deals gap Tennesse riding motorcycles? 318 curves in 11 miles,...well that was basically the same riding I did yesterday...back mountain road that sees very little traffic...just enough traffic to rescue you if you were to have a problem. It was sooooo much fun!

Wow bud....that looks like a lot of work!!!!! I bet its a blast when you are on top though!!!!

I was stuck along with my son in real deep snow like that. Must have been about 5ft drifts down a farm road we have to access the trail. Due to bushes/small trees on both side it really drifts in when it snows. Anyway we were way down in it much like that sled buth the front was also well down in it. Stepping off we'd go into about our knees. It took us a good 3hrs digging, clawing moving these heavy monsters trying to get out.

Yeah when you're on top its like floating on water. But when you get to much one way its hard to correct and full trottle is not an option since you're going to end up into the bush or trees around you and really stuck. We don't have the lugs for that kind of snow or the deep tracks below the tunnel. I see a tree had some impact on the getting stuck. LOL
