Im parting out my viper and am thinking of getting an srx. Most srx don't have reverse. I know the reverse from my viper will fit, but will the gearing be right?
I want to know cuz I have people who want to buy it.
Thanks

the gearing will be very close, srx sleds use 23 38 and older ones use 23 37(from memory) your viper would have been 22/38 stock. depending on the srx and what you are doing with it, viper gears are better, if it is a stock 2000 and up srx and your trail riding it, use the 23 top gear. if you have a longer deeper track on the srx, use the 22

if you do some looking around, you will find some posts on how to reverse a srx, if you have minimal skils, you can use your park brake to run it and leave your coul intact. I posted pictures of this mod on musslemans build.

I would get a 2000 and up.
I can install the reverse I've had my sled apart and together so many times.
so ur saying for trail riding its a better set up?
I'm a very agressive trail rider.
Thanks
