Hi,
So I pull all three jets on each carb to soak them in some carb cleaner and notice that the main jet and are pretty much identical except for the diameter of the hole. I can put a twist tie thru one and not the other.
You probably can see where this is going. Which goes where? I'm not even sure what the other jet's function is but there are for sure interchangeable.
Tried looking at the Yamaha parts list but can't make sense of that. I would like to assume the main jet is bigger but can't bring myself to do that.
The pilot jets I can get a guitar B string thru but not a G (next up in diameter and they are .09 electric). I can see light thru them however after soaking and running air thru with the compressor they still seem a little inconsistent when I blow thru them. I'm thinking they are probably OK.
BTW Carb cleaner does not taste as bad as you would think. An speaking of thinking maybe that is my problem. Don't eat carb cleaner while removing all of the jets without noting where they go back!

one is the power jet. there is detailed how to in the rx forumn on the 4 stroke side.
07 you should have an apex and it is fuel injected. perhaps you mean rs vector or venture?

Yep you are correct it is actually a 2004. I'll take a look on the other forum for which jet goes where. Maybe I'll search for Mikuni or RFS.
One jet appears to say RFS 25 and the other RFS 35.
Thanks for the response!
