Barffffffff

Not just ugly...is there a market for that, a 300 cc single, probably $3000-3500 or so. why not just spend a couple hundred more and get the kid a 380 twin.
 
LOL man that is an ugly sob looks like like the front end got hit by a truck.... I must say tho it does look kinda fun to play around in fields for when theres little snow and you dont want to bring out a good sled lol.
 
Its the Ski-Doo Freestyle. Its made for kids who are too big for a 120 but still not big enough or mature enough for a full-size sled.
To me, it looks a lot like a SnoScoot/SnoSport or an Inviter.
I agree that its ugly, but Doo will sell a bunch of 'em!
I say its time for a new SnoScoot! Yamaha could use the 250cc 4-stroke from the 250 Bruin/BearTracker/TimberWolf and could make something that looked like a mini RX-1.

I agree it is a good concept and they have a great idea putting out a sled like this, but come on kids want to ride with good looks too but i guess as long as they got a new toy anything will make them happy. I agree with a mini Rx it would be an awesome idea and they would sell like crazy! I just hope the price tag on that sled isnt over 3,500$ I wonder if any of the rest of the 06 line up for doo will look like that :(
 
I think that this sled is going to list at $3,000.
OOZENOZ, dont laugh (especially considering you are someone who' riding a 500 SXr and looking to move up to a SX Venom). People laughed when the RX-1 came out, they arent laughing anymore. People laughed when Polaris started making ATVs, they arent laughing anymore.
Who knows what direction the snowmobile market might head. If someone had told you back in '01 that within 5 years there would be no more 2-stroke Yamahas, you would have laughed at them and told them they were crazy, and you would have been WRONG.
So, dont laugh at the Freestyle. Its just weird enough looking that kids will love it. Look at the VW Beetle or any other small car. Those things are BUTT UGLY, but people buy 'em. Why? Because they are cheap, economical and fun to drive. I think what made sleds like the Yamaha Phazer, Polaris Indy Lite and the AC Jag so popular are the exact same reasons why small cars are so popular with young people and why bigger cars are dying out.

So if I owned something more expensive i could laugh?...I think it's funny lookin'...so do others...guess I just love the blue team. :yam:
