Removing Front Heat Exchanger? Help 03 Viper. Mine is pretty beat up, would like to take it out and fix it right. I am a welder, but I think with the minimal room and dirty aluminum, i would rather take it out. I heard you need to pull engine, correct?. Can i leave some lines hooked up and lift and put engine to side? I must remove clutch correct? In the middle of this job right now, and help would be appreciated

If you can get it welded without pulling it, I would do that. They are a pain to get out and back in.

x2 on taking the engine out... I am going to do mine as soon as the riding season is over. The flange or bend on the bottom has started to tear apart. Not sure if it can be welded or I will find a good used one.

Thanx for all suggestions, I had motot 90% out and realized that is not the correct route. Then removed track and front shaft ( kind of pain), Flushed exchanged, wire brushed and ground fins to get to surface. Tig welded up great, now to put all back together
