when i load the forum i get a message that says "curve468x60_banner.swf" can harm your computor, do you want to keep file anyway? is this a virus or is it just something with the site?

For the last few weeks off and on I get some security warning asking for permission from this site to run such and such program when I go to the home page. Whatever it is, it has to do with the scrolling words at the bottom on the home page. I click on run, the words go, I click cancel, they don't. No big deal. Just.....annoying.

I think there is something wrong with Curves Banner... not sure what. Its a flash problem. I have remove the banner, is the problem gone now?

My same deal is still happening. It definitely has to do with the scrolling banner though. At least in my case.

Ya, thats a new Java security thing. You should authorize that... and it will go away. I guess some sites have been exploited thru java add on to sites but ours should be ok. Its other sites like porn or gaming thats the problem.

I do, yet it pops up every single time I hit Home to go look at the tech pages or whatever. I mean it's not a big deal, just a bit annoying.

I havent had any of the issues they have mentioned but I get a pop up saying site wants to install Active X, follow the prompts and then it says author cant be validated. Other than that all good here.

Try downloading the latest version of Active X from their website. Active X is needed when flash media is used on a website.
