Spotted a 09 nytro skid on craigslist. Factory 136" with 2100 miles. Asking price of $450(good price Has ben reposted at least once) Have ben wanting to go to 136 or 144 on a 01 SRX. Searched here and couldnt find anything about what would be invovled installing in a pro-action platform. I am sure on 4 stroke side I could get alot of input on how they work in the nytro but my question is more how easy/hard would install be? And how much better would that skid be over the pro-action? From what I have read on line this skid has ben met with mixed reveiws (with a few upgrade kits available) in the nytro platform. Anybody put one in a pro-action?

What model of Nytro came with a factory 136"? I'm thinking it is a 121" or a 144". Unless there was a Canadian model that was 136", I am not aware of any US model Nytro that was a factory 136"

Thats what I found. E-mailed via craigslist requesting more/better pics. In the only pic in ad you can see shocks laying in the back ground.

That is not a nytro skid. Looks like some kinda pro action skid. Not sure exactly without better pic.Devilin AblueDress! said:http://nmi.craigslist.org/rvs/3632987687.html

Could it be the older Nytro? The one that was more like the vector.

Could be, they didnt change to current skid till o7-08 along with the new current chassi. Here is a current style nytro skid. This is an 08 but pretty much what a 09 should look like http://www.ebay.com/itm/2008-YAMAHA...Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2980b730&vxp=mtr
That's not a Nytro skid, I put an 08 in mine, had 136" extensions but I took it back to 121". Biggest drawback of the skid was the shocks needed to be re-valved. I haven't done that yet and I still got it dialed in fairly good...in my opinion an excellent skid for an upgrade. Fairly easy install with the right measurements.

Yep looks like a ProAction skid. Likely 2005. Not worth $450 IMO.

I have a 06 rs nytro and it is the newer style skid, got a 05 rs venture parts sled that has the new style in it also, longer though, haven't measured but think it's a 144.
