Morning all,
I've done some searching and not much info on this that I can find, maybe someone on here has some info to share.
I'm looking at putting a turbo on my SRX700, I can only find one but it's in a 1977 srx but not much info. I've put turbos on BMW's and would like to tackle a 2 stroke, My sled is a 98 srx 700 some port and polishing all blue printed I don't remember who built the motor but could find out. It probly puts out 160ish HP. but I'm the type of person that wants to be different so Turbo srx is what I want to ride next year.

there is alot to take into account when putting a turbo on a 2 stroke. pipe efficiency carb size cranking compression ratio squish angle and width port timing fuel type whether or no the charge is very hot or very cold the list goes one. if your motor is pushing 160hp you can make almost 210 hp with as little as 4-6lbs of boost if tuned correctly and almost 320hp with 15-18lbs that is if your crank and clutch will hold it along with fuel, fuel will be your biggest concern. i was running a turbo on a 421 banshee it made 75hp with out the turbo but same pipe carbs ect and with 18lbs of boost made 165hp on alcohol.regert said:
