Hey,

As the title says, wondering what exactly they do ? I managed to break both of mine where they mount to the skid, had to ride 8 miles home after they broke and I didn't notice a difference in feel...

Can I remove them completely and ride ? Will that cause any damage, or just change how the rear end feels/hooks up ?

Thanks in advance...

I was hitting some decent sized jumps (save me the "it's not a jumper sled" speech  ), 7 miles from home we stopped and noticed that the mounts had both broken off.

If you are talking about the 2 round rods that attach to the rails directly, they control weight transfer by allowing the skid to move uncoupled for part of the travel. If you run without them you will have full transfer. While it does put more stress on other parts in certain positions you can run it. The place you most likely notice it is when opening the throttle up while still trying to turn. Your skis may come up or at least lose any weight on them. You can combat this by "power sliding" the track.

Hey,

Yep I got them, thanks again !! I really appreciate you getting them out so fast, I spent most of Friday afternoon installing them. I had some ratcheting going on so tightened the track a bit, then went about a mile from my house and did this :

Ive got everything ordered except for 1 piston (want to stay OEM) and Im guessing that my cylinder is shot, gonna take it to an engine shop tomorrow and see what they think.
