Hi everyone,
I am a member of many different forums and I have never see a forum that seemingly removes threads after a few days. Why do threads disappear ? Why are there not pages of threads that one can look through?
Thanks,
Zack

It is in your settings. Go to user Cp and change it there. Then you can pick how many you want to see.

Posts are not normally deleted. However, we do move them if they are posted in the wrong section or remove them if they are inappropriate. You might want to check to see if it was moved to a more appropriate section. If you have one in particular that you are interested in maybe I can track it down for you and see what happened with this particular one.
Also like mentioned above, you may want to check your "Default Thread Age Cut Off" setting under User CP - Edit Options

Something else a lil on the weird side of being pro active. Use a an odd word, one that wont appear in a ton of other threads. Search your word and it will come right up. As well as you can subscribe to it and/or save the link in your favorites.

I think JDviper is on the right track here. if your cp settings arent set to display all threads that is why they are disappearing on you. you are only seeing the most recent posts. Like Ding said we do occasionally move a thread to the appropriate forum but that usually will have a redirect.
