So I got up to North Conway tonight and was able to start my diagnostics on a 3 blink trouble code on my sled. The thumb ohm's out ok as well as the grip warmers but when I ohm'd the grip warmers they would bounce around. I guess extending the grip warmer harness with bullet plug pigtails added some resistance.
Anyways I went to check the resistors but found the harnesses behind the trim piece so I decided to wait on that until tomorrow. My last plan was to check the fuses and call it a night. Well I can't find the accessory fuse box, the little tab for its rubber mount is there but no fuse box. If the electric start and reverse were added as a dealer option, would no fuse box have been added to the system?
It's very odd. I would guess that if the sled came from the factory with the electric start and reverse they would have used a sx chassis harness, or is it like a new vehicle where thy have unused pigtails for options you may not have?
