I have a 2000 SRX 700 and I am getting a flashing temp light any time I go above 80 mph. If I slow down a bit its fine. I can pin it and hold it wide open and once it gets around 80 it will start to flash again. Still runs great, pulls 8500 rpm. Im just worried I got more electrical issues. Once is starts to flash i let off because I dont wanna burn it up.

check if the thermostat is fubar.If it was like when mine went,at higher speed my light did flash..The thermostat sort of busted inside and jammed the plate inside and the coolant couldn't circulate fast enough,making the temps go up.
this happened to my SRX the first year I had it. I had it serviced at Goodwin Performance, and the only thing that was broke was a PV cable. now the light doesn't flash for me, check your PV. not an expert, but that is my
