You Canadians can forecast the weather 2 months out? :letitsnow We can't even get it right for the next day. :o|

Great for you guys Blue. Last season you were ready to jump off a cliff because of lack of snow. Sounds like this season is making up for that. There goes all your gas money for next season. We've got some snow coming in tonight till Wednesday. Might actually be able to get out and get some more riding in. Fingers crossed! :letitsnow :letitsnow :letitsnow :letitsnow

I should work for environment Canada..lol Yeah 4 inch's at least now.it sure looks purdy out.Wait till the winds come then a Blizzard with all this white fluff..It is just like Christmas out there..NICE!..

now I can't even open the storm door in the garage because of the drifts..more snow still coming down..

yep the Red will be good. The Rat is to winding for me and of course gets a lot of snow settling down on it.So this winter seems similar to the winter of 2009,I was riding the Red on April 7 that year. Not to worried about any flood myself. Now if this is what a normal winter should be,we should have a normal Summer, with rain and mosquitoes again. That is fine,I hated the last few Summers that were hot and drought conditions.Might even be a cooler Summer as you remember back in the wet Summers..I like my grass green and we do need a lot of rain for that to happen.

Had to pull 5 cars down rd 247 so I could get through to go home.. Snow is 2-3ft deep on that road..NICE!!! Love my F350 Diesel..lol..Going riding tonight.. Putting on the miles and loving every mile of it... River should be like a dream.. My Riding partner took the day off to ride today and was texting all day giving me his riding reports..lol..

lots of snow for sure, the drift busting will be awesome.Rivers will be full again as well.Make some trail for me on the River so I can use the SRX.I will go tomorrow and most of the week with the 600 looking for places to get stuck..lol. We should still be riding into middle of April this time..same as in 2009..

Hey Doug, were those your tracks on the red I saw by the St Adolphe bridge today???..lol.. River looks nice but a bit choppy.. Lots of guys riding all over.. Went to Sandilands this weekend and hit up the Valleys and logging roads. WOW.. What an awesome time.. Got lost and had to flag down a truck on a gravel road we poped out on.. We are heading back there this weekend but I am taking my GPS to track are way.. The old logging roads in there are so smooth and fluffy to ride on.. Not a track insight but our own.. Awesome is all I am saying..

not me,haven't ridden since last Saturday. My body is aching real bad for the last 3 days, don't know what happened..but feel like crap,no energy and no feeling for going out in the cold at all.I guess I am kinda waiting for Spring now and warm up..but will try to go riding tomorrow if I feel better.Don't have much oil left and won't be buying any more now.A few more rides and I'm done with it..can't wait for the melt to start..I enjoy when Spring starts.

man was it fun today,so much powder everywhere.Nearly got stuck a dozen times.Three feet deep in the bush almost grounded me right there.. #$%&* but kept her pinned and got out.A lot of jumping and climbing also..air borne a lot today on the drifts. This is what winter is all about.I do need to long track the 600 for sure if this is the snow to ride in every once in a while.Stupid deep everywhere and that is the fun part making it through that stuff without getting stuck, best snow in years here.Gas mileage was crap today..what do you expect anyways in this snow.. ;)! :sled1: :sled1: :sled1: :sled1:

Thought you were ready for spring..lol.. I love playing in the deep stuff. Like I said heading out to Sandilands this weekend for some deep powder and some hill climbing. I never new Sandilands had so many Valleys and steep climbs. We were climbing 60 to 70 foot hills and steep.. It was awesome.. Get stuck, drag sled down and giver again..lol.. We made some real nice trails and you can go for hours and not see a sled trail.. You should come with us for a dig.. You would love it.. Oh ya, taking my GPS this time..lol..

I would get stuck for sure..besides don't have a sno pass..I wouldn't try that unless I had a long tracked sled anyways..I have enough snow here to finish off the season..a couple more rides and parking the sleds.I have 4 containers of gas left and almost no more oil..so will try to burn it off..

Well Blue, looks like you have an extended riding season compared to my area.
I parked the sled almost 3 weeks ago thinking it was all over. Hurt my back too and that was the end for sure.
We got some more snow and the trails have been groomed and open so I went for a ride. Made it about a half hour out and my back seized up again. :o|
Calling for temps above zero from here on out.
Oh well. Put alot of miles on and the ol' SRX survived it.
Time to call it quits and get pro-active with my back. Work season is just around the corner, guys are slaying the Bows on the river banks and the Salmon will be rolling into the bay any day. ;)!

what another great day of riding, the old srx just keeps on rolling.Hit the deeper snow and climbing with the x..surprises me she will make it thru with enough speed..100 plus miles again on the odometer..and still looks like all next week is gonna be great for riding as well.... ;)! :sled1: :sled1: :sled1: :sled1:
