I am sure there has to be some sort of verification/data entry envolved. I doubt its a "instant thing" Maybe other VIPs could chime in with turn around times? I checked an as of now no admins/moderators on line and I would speculate they could answer your questions. Maybe click on one of the link "contact webmaster". I am with you on the patience thing, they say its a virtue...guess thats a virtue I dont have.
Mine wasn't instant, but it only took a day or so. I think a human being has to "turn on" VIP status for your account. Maybe he's out snowmobiling...
