SRX CDI in a Viper

I forget which CDI will work properly. I would have just done the search for SRX CDI, but the search tab will not allow three character searches. Anyway is it the 2001 or 2000 CDI that I need. One is an 8DN***10 and the other is an 8DN***20. The 20 is about 50 buck more expensive from yamaha, so I was wondering if there is any differnence. BETHEVIPER has some experience here if I remember. Thanks.

You need a 2001 SRX cdi and a jumper wire to hook into your water temp sensor.

So a 2000 box is a no go.

The 2000 box doesn't have the correct wiring for dual hand & thumb warmers. In 2000 they were on one knob together, 2001 they were seperate. The 2000 box doesn't have the correct plug-ins going into the box either.
