hey guys any tips for covering up holes where mirrors were ??? carraige bolts? haha see if anyone else has anything better??

I got some plastic body darts and painted them in a metallic blue automotive paint. It ended up being a little darker than the blue on my hood but they still look good with the contrast. I also had some aluminum panels that I riveted onto the hood to reinforce a crack from the previous owner. They look pretty cool standing out on the blue hood with aluminum rivet heads

I used the same thing on a black hood so no paint needed. I think were talking about the same thing, those plastic push pins with large flat heads and finned posts. Worked and looks great.

went with the push pins took washers on the back sides to hold them in worked and looks great! cant wait to suprise the gf with the sled tonight she has no idea i got it for her!!
