new viper seat time???

Yes, rode all three lengths and I really liked them. the 129" and 137" seemed better to me than the 141".The ride and handling was very good with flat cornering and easy steering. To me the engines felt a little off for power as my 700 felt less torquey, but still faster overall. Others seemed to agree, hopefully they'll get them dialed in. I loved the light feel for a 4 stroke sled and I think they are onto something here!

Word on the street is that they are having problems getting the same power out them with the side exit exhaust compared to the rear exit of the Nytro.

I have not even seen the sir viper in person, but all iterations of the fx nytro never felt underpowered.

I wonder if cat and Yamaha have the 1050 detuned or restricted to not break what they might not have 100% figured out yet? A failure during the demo/ intro of this sled would kill sales. On the flip side, a feeling like they have more to give power wise gives people something to look forward to.

I haven't personally driven the viper but have a buddy that has. They did a side by side with a stoke Nytro xtx. Viper won every run according the them!

Who brought the nytro? Yamaha or a personal noon Yamaha approved one?

Sorry, but I am to much of a conspiracy theorist.

In theory, a procross powered by a nytro motor should be faster than a fx nytro, due to the weight difference. I just keep reading how impressed people are of the new 600 2 stroke, with not so good reviews of the nytro motored 7000 for those that did demo's of the 2014 cats.
Those same guys wonder if an apex motor will fit, then add a turbo. Lol, those guys never saw how tight of a fit that nytro motor is in the procross. Those people probably have never seen what a boosted nytro can do.:-)

I rode them last weekend and loved it. Power was good and really took the bumps well. I personally liked the longer tracks compared to the 129. The shorty seemed to have problems getting the power down. All in all a fun day.

Friend of mine rode them up in old forge. he said same thing felt a little underpowered and he claimed it was really loud with the side exhaust. Are prototypes though. I went to our local show to check them out. Couldnt ride but could sit on them. Very comfortable and certainley a nice looking buggy. They had a broke down sled there to showing the frame and how the motor fits in there. tight fit for sure. You can tell its a cat frame. With a square tube frame on the bottom. looked a bit cheesy. If it was a yammi engineered frame it would probably be one piece seemless thing of beauty. Im on the fence bout getting one. Think I might ride the old fixer upper one more winter .

Yamaha tech said no Apex motor in this chassis. Absolutely won't work.
Yes, just looking at the triple in that bare chassis process that barely fit. No way in hell an I 4 would fit.

I also have seen that both cat and yammy said that the yamacats need a bit of calibration, but that is to be expected.

Saw this all over them today in Wausau.
I dont care if I have to have one made, I need to get this on my sled. We all know they are never done. :)
