on my 2001 srx took for a ride today and the secondary sticks, cleaned and checked things over looks good. i noticed once in awhile it would do that when i first started it then go away. i figured frost or moisure from sitting in the trailer. im using green spring at 60 so that should be good. pull belt back in place and it seems to be fine any ideas thanks in advance
Inspect your two bushings,one in the helix and one in the sliding sheave.I'd be willing to bet that the teflon is starting to wear off on a spot or two.I had one in a helix do that one time,the secondary wouldn't close up once it had shifted out,once I took it apart I found the bushing was down to the steel,no teflon lining at all.
