Does anyone recommend Viper shocks on an SRX skid?? I have this option, but have concerns about what it will do to top end, acceleration etc. I know handling will not be the same due to a higher c of g. Will I need to longtravel my Ohlins too or can I just leave them as is? Most of my riding is on lakes, swamps, bush...I try to stay away from groomed trails because I am extremely bored of them.

I have viper shocks on my 02 srx and only put them on the rear and just let up the limiter strapps a bit and it seems to ride just fine.

My srx with viper shocks seems to have a much better holeshot because of more transfer. My top end stills seems to be very good! If you can get a good deal on them, I would definitely do it.

you will want to get extensions for your ohlins as well.
