I know this is a question that is seen alot but I can't pinpoint which bearing I'll need. The inside rear axle guide wheel on my 02 Vmax is gone, from a search I've narrowed it down to a 6204-2RS and a 6004-2RS. Royal Distributing is listing the same part numbers..

Thanks

I thought they typically were 6205 for big idlers, and 6203 for smalls, but I could be wrong. I've never come across a 6004. Either way, you can get them from any automotive place. NAPA, Carquest, etc.
The 2RS, or 2RSJ part numbers indicate sealed bearings with plastic shields on both sides. the 2Z or 2ZJ are the sealed ones with the metal side shields. Different manufacturers mess with the numbers just a touch, but the first batch of numbers is usually an industry standard, or "Timken number".

Just replaced the bearing on the inside guide wheel on a 2002 Viper earlier this winter.
6004-2RS, the box is sitting next to my computer for reorder.
