If you look in the yamaha parts fiche you should be able to get the part number you are looking for. Im not sure what color that spring should be but im sure someone else can chime in.
Its very possible that your spring could be weak causing it to engage lower than spec, however you should inspect the rest of the clutch as well before throwing parts at it. If other components are wore it can cause the same issue.
I believe you can go as much as a 1.25'' lug on the track before you have to change the drivers, gearing and clutching. I have found a 1'' track is a lot of fun and a big improvement over stock and sufficient for my type of riding. The more lug you put on a track, the more rotating weight you add also. I see alot of guys long tracking and adding super tall lugs to these exciters. I would hesitate to go overly huge with the track and lug. An exciter is only about 83hp and is pretty fun in stock trim, but the more lug and length you add to the track, It drasitcally changes a light, fun, sled in to an under powered pig. There is reason the big lug long track sleds the manufactures offer today have such big power plants. Just try'n to help. Hope you get your clutch issue solved.

the thing is the primary was just restored i changed to new bushings or what ever you call those plastic thingies that costs a fortune i spent like 2300 skr on just the 6 bushings then i found out i could buy the same things from a website for 300 skr for 6 bushings 6 bolts and 6 metal thingies that the bushings goes inside so i think it must be the spring
