243 inches and counting....

a little to much snow for my liking.I think we are around 60 inch's here and that is enough, don't want my house to float away when the flood comes. We are going into a Flood again this Spring..anymore snow and we would be in trouble.I am already broke and spent to much this season on oil/gas.

And my idiot co worker tried to say that New York doesn't know how to deal with snow like we do. And my supplier was in the Tonawanda area, I had to send him a link to average snow fall comparisons. He quickly shut up. You guys typically get twice what we do here.

people from this state are so clueless dont listen to nasayers. last year was a really bad year as far as snow totals but i still managed 1300 miles. with the lake being so warm the lake effect has been outta hand this year, the wind has been perfect. there was some guy a couple of weeks ago from LAKE GEORGE NY (rich bricks] saying the trails sucked here this and that. hes pretty much in the snow belt just gotta find the right trails. trail conditions were so nice last thursday in town of webb and all the way north and west we did 148 miles in 3 hours and stopped to fix a broken belt on a skidoo and 4 smoke breaks for the smokers. im not as fast as the "flying farmer" but my 78 exciter with 6 inches of travel probably could of done that same trip with no broken suspension parts keeping that same pace. :letitsnow

Man I am from the lake George region and our trails suck even when they are open! We only got out 3 times close to the house. The rest was up in speculator ny. But one thing is for certen that this winter was much better than last!!!!

Local weather observer east of Munising has totaled 300.7 inches since the snow started in late October 2012. 25 feet!

you gotta go west of speculator than north, thats where all the snow is bro.trails are wide and usually in pretty good condition. speculator is in the snow belt but not in the hills, you gotta go further west. maybe the trails near lake goerge suck but thats a very very small part of our trail systems. dont say the trails suck in NY dude because your local trails blow.
