Saw a flyer on the bulletin board at the local drug store, 2002 Viper ER with 3500 miles in excellent shape with new battery for $1000! I called as soon as I got out in the parking lot and it was sold the day before. So close! I was going to service it and ditch it for $1800 next fall. Oh well.

you might be better off. probably low compression!

You never know. I got mine from a dealer for $600.00 and was told it needed a new piston. When I got it home I gave it some fresh gas and cleaned the carbs and she runs great. It had all kinds of extras on it to. The only thing I have to sort out is the clutching. It has Bender pipes, but no clutch kit. For $600.00 that's not too bad. Sometimes people just sell stuff cheap to get rid of it.

Didnt MISS the steal I just got on a 04 viper. Got up at 4:30 this morning so I could get off work early to make the trip to Oscoda (5 1/2 hrs round trip per mapquest) Comp is spot on, 6900 miles $1350. Did I forget to mention the Hartman 144" extension/relocation kit, E start and Ohlins? Had to stop at the ViperPit on my way home so Super1c could check it out.

No phone number in add and took him at least 2 days to respond to each e mail (usually 1-2am) until he finally sent pics via text. Got a few differant versions of the reasons he was selling sled as well as found out sled was at soon to be X wives house.
