I bought my Viper new in 2003 and it finally let go at 9000 miles.
I tore it down and it will need crank work and two cylinders repaired.
Is there a place that I can do a whole engine exchange or where would you guys recommend to send this crank and cylinders too?
Bender was telling me it would be cheaper to just buy a used engine.
I may consider parting it out or selling as is. Sled is in great condition and everything has been gone through (rear suspension, Drive shaft and chaincase bearings Etc.)
I appreciate any advice.

x2 buying a used one is probably going to be alot cheaper since you need atleast 2 cyls, pistons and crank work[/QUOTE

Yea, Ill probably go with the guy above...Seems like the best route.

I would rebuild then you know what you got, i got another friend with a rusty crankshaft again its in my garage right now gonna tear it down this week its a 95 v max 600 with 583 miles on it he just bought it from the original owner he paid top dollar ($1100) beacause its in such nice shape he went 12 miles and a crank bearing started sqealing big time, hopefully the bearing didnt spin in the case.
