2000 sxr 700.. just wondering how much fogging oil do you use? do you use a whole can? half can? im also fogging a 2012 rush 600 and debating wether I need two cans for two sleds or if one can is enough

You should be spraying it in the cylinder for about 5-10 seconds then pull over a few times and your done. If your spraying it through the carbs, it should be about the same amount until the sled stalls out. I can usually do both of my sleds I then save the half empty can and still have enough to do my 2 lawn mowers, 2 trimmers, and chain saw in the fall.

1/2 a can I think would be overkill, a full can would probably fill your cylinders full of liquid.

Put stabil in gas, run it for a bit. Then pull air box off and run it, well its running try and stall it with fogging oil, go from left to right or right to left about 5 secconds per carb or till it starts to lug that cylinder. There's no need to do 3 carbs at once since in a 2 stroke the oil will hang around in the case and won't get completey cleaned out when the trans ports are open.. It will start to load up and smoke then hit the kill switch or floodd it with oil. Take your pipe off and drain all the extra oil out of it. Steel wool in the can. And take plug caps off so theey don't rust up. And if you want spray fogging oil on the outside of the case and cylinders. Then your good

I buy a minimum of 1 can per sled. Kind of hard to spray can at odd angle into carb so once you get down around a 1/3 of a can its useless as far as spraying into carbs. I pull plugs and give each an extra snort from remainder of a can. I coat everything under the hood for corrosion as well. In my opinion red stabil is a waste of money, green stabil (marine version for ethanol) is okay. I use old plugs as well, once they sit in fogging oil all summer they are junk.
