Hey guys, how does the oil pump driveshaft come out of the crankcase on a 700 tripple? I have the cases split, pulled the pump off the driveshaft, pulled the bolt off the waterpump impeller, the impeller does not want to come off and the driveshaft does not want to move in the case. Did not force anything in fear of breaking it. Any help on this would be greatly apprieciated. thanks.

Any trick to getting the waterpump impeller off to get at the seal and circlip? I removed the bolt but the impeller does not want to come off the shaft.

heat the center of it with mapp gas and then take 2 screw drivers and put 1 on each side and GENTLY pry it up.
It has loctite on the shaft splines or corroded, the heat and some pb blaster will help you, gotta heat it good and hot.
