Can anyone tell me what the gear ratios are for a VK 2 speed transmission. I am interested in how low the low gear is as I am building a utility pulling sled from a 91 venture. Have extended the tunnel with a Phazer ST tunnel extension, 1.25 lug 136" track. I have reverse and the lowest gear that I can put in the bottom is 38 teeth from 33 teeth original. I would not like to shange the upper shaft gear as they are expensive. The ratio that I curently have is 19 upper 38 lower final ratio 2:0. I could probably get the upper gear shaft of 17 teeth to lower the ratio even further. As a last resort I could get 7 tooth drivers instead of 8 further reducing the ratio. The end result will be a light groomer pulling sled with any luck. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I live east of Uxbridge and have a VK II , but never noticed if the tech showed teeth , it does start off a bit easier in low range, this link should show a 93 chaincase

..I would need to look in tech to make sense of it,,,2 spr and 8 gears in there
17T and 22T chain ,,,,seems to drive into gears and drops down to a countershaft
for upper sprocket,,,the early wide tracks (EW643) drove a slider cog each side of
upper sprocket..
PM me some time if looking at one installed would help.
