So, I'm rebuilding the skid, about time.(16000km)so how can I tighten up the center shock bushings, is there and other opitions than the bearing fix? I don't feel like blowing 100$ on bearing for 1 shock.

them bearings don't cost much and are worth it.All my rear shocks have them.Just checked the ones on my SRX even after 2 seasons of not adding a little grease to them..they are still perfect..shocks take a beating, need something better then what the stock bushings are.

the bearings and seals can be robbed from one side arm from another skid. then you just need to order the plastic washers and the collar the bearing rides on. someone in canada must have a junked out skid. I can sell you some if you don't have any around.
If you find used side arm, I think the yamaha parts are only 25bucks. it is worth doing and is easier on your w arm as well as you lower mount.

What grease do you use to re pack those bearings anyways? How much would you sell them for?

two ends would just be the price of a rod, 20$ I could ship in a flat rate envelope, for 16
I would have to cut the ends off the rod to get it to go flat rate that cheap..

could you just pop the bearings out and put them in the envelope? why would you need to cut the rod?
