What would be the best paint to use on exhaust pipes?

Yet to try this, but mat black wood stove paint is looking like it may work
Stove paint and high temp header paint will work. I have used VHT in the past with reasonable results. Any paint will only be a short term solution though. If you want something more permanent, ceramic coating is the way to go. It lasts a long time and will yield a slight performance increase.

Ive always had good luck with flat stove/grill paint. Last about a good season or two then next time its apart give it a quick touch up. Enough to keep the rust away.

Look for exhaust paint that has temp rating of 1800 degs an you will be good to go exhaust temp on a 2 stroke runs around 1250-1400 dregs.
