scaled my srx today. 3:16

yep they are not light, although the 15 wide tar track weighs 50lbs but not really that much more then a typical snow track with picks in it.

I always weigh all my sleds...my 2002 SRX stock...all fluids but no fuel weighed 567lbs.
The SRXs are heavier then a lot of people think, they are not a lot lighter then the VMAX4s or even a short track NON EPS Apex.

Bob I Agree. Everything From The Triple Era Was Fast As Hell, But Also Very Heavy. 1995 To 2002 Is My Favorite Era Of Sleds. 3:16 (yammie Tony)

TONY I CANNOT READ YOUR POSTS WITHOUT YOUR CAPS LOCK ON.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Tony, I also weighed the front only and back only of each sled. The 00 is 260 on the skis, 330 on the track. My 02 is 295 on the skis, 315 on the track. Both WITHOUT riders. I need to recheck this next time though to confirm. Not sure if rear skid springs are the same or at the same preload. The 00 seems to have less traction issues. Sits a bit lower in the back as well. Spring wise that skid is basically the way Geimeti set it up years ago.

SCOTT, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO WEIGH YOUR SLED COMPLETE AT THE TRACK. A DRIVE ON/ DRIVE OFF SCALE USED FOR CARS. THATS WHAT I USED. EITHER WAY YOUR MEASUREMENTS ARE CLOSE. ALSO I REMEMBER GIAMETTI. BUILT SOME STRONG STUFF. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Yes, I have weighed the whole sleds on the track scales almost every time. Last time I was just curious to know the skis weight and track weight of each sled so I rolled onto the scale first with just the skis on and then with just the track. I know you just want to be helpful and that's great. It's all good! I posted that in case it was helpful for you or anyone else on here.
