Hey guys I'm trying to put together a TY ride here in N.Y. Not sure where or when yet but I'm open for suggestions. Pm me or e-mail me if your interested. Later

trough the tug hill region,high market,osceola,redfield,rome,anywhere besides old forge..you need a permit for there.
 
Tug Hill is nice, What about chatauqa area? You could have it the same time as the B.E.S.T race in Gerry. Where ever you have it count me and my buddy in!!

The way ot looks right now it's going to be at Montague Inn (Tughill). The week of Jan 28th-29th or if the weather does'nt cooperate it will be held Feb. 6th-7th. Let's keep in touch guys.
 
I say, we do a backpack mission from the hill to Stillwater and overnight, have a little party and then return then next day. Fri. we ride to stillwater and do overnight. Sat. play all around Stillwater or go to another town and spend Sat. night. Sun. return back to the Tug. We would be leaving from Osceola as that is where my friends house is, right next to Cedar Pines. I would say about 10 of us would be in for that ride. Count the Rochester guys in. Doug
 
i say that is a good idea.im very good with that area & would wanna show you guys 46 corners.im very good friends with the owner of oceola hotel. ervery1 noes ever1 up there.& its a good place to take off.
 
Montague Inn or Lowville area?

Ok here are the choices either Montague or Lowville area. I'd like to keep it simple so it is more central and easy for everyone to find. I'll keep ya's all posted. Date is Jan. 28th-29th unless teh waether or trail conditions change. If the trails or weather do not look favorable for the Jan date then it will be Feb. 4th-5th.
 
Count me in too. I am up in Tug Hill, Old Forge, and Adirondacks area all winter and am always up for a ride, especially with Yamaha bretherin :) .

Well, if you guys want to leave from Montague that is fine. Some of us can meet you at the Timberview. We cna ride down the hill across the valley past Brantingham.... I just don't like parking my truck just any old place on the hill for a few days (seen way to many busted windows up there). If SRXBULLY and about 6 or more of the crew I ride with end up going we can all have a starting place on the souther end of hte tug near Cedar Pines. To get to Montague from a Rochester drive is way out of the way when I have a cabin to go to and park the truck all nice and cozy for a few days. I have no problem meeting up with everyone via sled. I can rip right up the street and get on Joe's new trail and over to the rail bed and down to Timberview or up to Flatrock if you want to cut over that way. It's 40 min away. I have been waiting for a cool backpack trip. This sounds like a blast. Doug
 
N.Y. TY Ride Update!

Ok guys here's the N.Y. TY Ride update. We're all meeting at the Flatrock Inn on Jan. 28th at 9:00am. Anyone who wants to come along is more than welcome to meet us there.Or maybe we can meet up with the rest of the pack at another location even.So anyone who wants to come along just be there! The reason for picking Flatrock Inn is that it is more central and easy to get to. Hope to see you there! Let's ride and have some fun!
 
What about non-Yamaha sleds joining us? Just wondering-yes or no. :?:

I'm in, also trying to locate other Rochester area riders to go. I'd hate to go alone, I just can't convince my AC friends to get their sleds out of the shop long enough to do some real ridin! LOL
