Wanted to get some red or yellow loops for my new plastic skis but after pricing them out.. OUCH!

Anyways... Is there anyone out there that has painted them with some sort of spray paint!

Thiking of just painting it black?

I've seen it done and it looks tacky. The paint chips off then you are left with ugliness. You should be able to find a set of loops for under $30.

Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did and it was a mistake. I even used the Krylon Fusion.

i used the stuff on my windsheild haha im cheap like that but it looks good. anyways dont try using it on a ski loop lot of vibration there most likly it will just chip off. stillw aiting for a stick to hit my winsheild and have the paint just fall off.

Did you paint the inside?

if you use a good soft enamel spray bomb or better yet a vinal color. I had done a set on my srx. you will need to sand them with a grey scotch brite and clean them with whip or other precleaner before painting. the ones i did lasted all season with only minor chipping on the tips and at major flex points. each year i just removed and sprayed again.
