Looks like a decent sled for the price. This is the time of year to get a good deal on a sled!

Check the coolant hose under the clutch for cuts(Belt guard cuts it),Listen to the exhaust to make sure the donuts are good on the exhaust,Check the front arm of the rear suspension for cracks. Also listen to the engine(mag side) to make sure the chain tension is not going(bulletin on this on the TY4stroke side).Other than that its a great sled where cross country is its specialty.Heres a vid of my brothers this past winter chasing my warrior.Enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yy0kV2LytKwViperBite20 said:going to go take a look at it. anything in particular i should look for?

i would not be scared of the tentioner, i am not an expert with the 4 strokes, always had 2 smokes and my 06 nytro is my first one. i did the tentioner on it and it wasnt a bad job, so if it not detonated yet, a good sled otherwise, and a good price i wouldnt let that hold u back. really good ride after switching from the proactions, ive been on sx, srx, and vipers pretty consistent for about the last 10 years, even with revalving and such the ride is nothing compared to the nytro, although i am still a little partial to the handling of the old ones i still find myself choosing the nytro most time i go out. very different riding style to get used to, mainly easing in and out of the throttle. awsome once u get used to it though.
