Im kicking around the idea of rebuilding my ohlins proaction 136 skid. With the money Im going to put in it, I could probably just put a mono in it and be done. So here is my question: What mono skid will fit in my stretched viper? I have room for a 144 skid as that is where my tunnel extension is installed. Should I buy a 121 and get rail extensions for it, get a 136 skid, or find a 144 and throw it in? I'd like to have a 144 mono in it. That would be my first choice. Anyone have one kicking around? Is there a template for the 144 install in a viper?
Thanks, Jason

Get a 136 and set it back for a 144 setup.
There are some old posts kicking around in here about this type of setup and someone with a mono template.
Can't remember his name right now but I'm sure someone will chime in with more info for you.
You can contact Travis about the parts you will need.

Far as i remember 03viperguys template works for 121 and 136". I would get a 136 then go 144 with either rail extensions (then you could use template) or set back as stein says. Here is 03viperguys post. Im sure you have it but he is the one that makes the template for the install. http://www.totallyamaha.net/forums/showthread.php?t=33045

not sure if its the same dimmensions but i have seen the templets on here somewhere for the shorter mono installs. i dont have a mono but i do have a 144 proactive from an 05 venture i would be willing make someone a deal on, even open to trades n such. looks pretty good, only bad thing is its the junk non rebuildable shocks in it, not sure how much life left in them. just let me know if its anything u are interested in, it is currently still in the sled with the 1.25 track

I got to thinking today and I really dont want to change out my 136 track (or pay for a new 144) so a 136 skid or a 121 extended to 136, is probably the way to go.
