my 90 phazer is only firing on one cylinder during startup and low rpm. Once I get over 5000rpm then the second kicks in. Any ideas?

If you have spark all the time then you don't have a problem. It sounds to me that it only doesn't fire below 5000rpm when you first start it up. Your needle and seat may be dirty/worn on the carb for that cylinder, letting fuel leak in when the sled is shut off and flooding it untill you get the rpms up enough to clean it out, then it runs fine. Try cleaning the carbs and see what happens.

Cheap fix maybe to change spark plugs...If they're new then I dunno!!!

probably a dirty pilot jet. Clean the carbs good and throw in a new set of plugs

Actually this wouldnt be that hard to figure out but more information is needed to diagnose it.
1.) does the sled have a bright blue spark when pulling it over with plugs out and connected to wires?
2.) are the spark plugs dripping wet with fuel if the engine is run at below 5000 rpm?
3.) If yes to above, then are the choke plungers free and able to be moved in the carbs? Can you move the cable up and down in the adjuster in the carb, like is there slack in the cable?
4.) If #3 is not the problem, when was the last time the carbs were cleaned and the float level checked?
Give some more information, and someone can help you out I am sure.

Good advice above, but also switch plug wires and see if it is consistently one cylinder or if it moves with the wire. If you start with a cool engine (or switch to cool plugs) you can feel for heat to determine which one is firing.
