I'm designing myself a reserve gas tank to go on my tunnel behind the seat that will also be a rack. I'm makin it so the tail light won't have to be moved and can still be seen. Could somebody tell me the measurements of the tunnel behind the seat. It's the 136 inch track I'm nowhere near my sled so I can't do it myself. I would like to know the distance from the seat to the edge of the tunnel then the width of the the tunnel at the seat and at the rear bumper the the width of the tail light and how high up it is from the tunnel. Don't care if its in inches cm mm or whatever it would really be helping me out. Thanks

interesting concept. i think once you see your sled again you may be rethinking your design, i would.
i would suggest eliminating the stock tail light lens and making a block off plate then adding a slp led style light relocated to the rear allowing you to keep the height of your gas can and rack down. slp part # 32-313. i have used them plenty.
tunnel is about 17" wide. the stock tail light is 11" wide and apprx 3" tunnel to bottom of light and 6" tunnel to top of light. dont have the tunnel extension length on the st model at hand. picture those numbers and imagine how high off the tunnel your idea would ride. appears hokey in my mind.
