summer project 1980 Exciter

I finally got my buddies dad to give up a 1980 exciter. It sat since the last time my bud was home (8 yrs ago). I add some fresh gas, pulled it over and she runs like a dream. I should have taken pics prior to cleaning some of it up. I plan to get it ready for this winter - hopefully I can get it ready to run against the family phazers.

just bought a new house so this will be put on hold until the fall

possibly, I will have to wait and see how things go. we ran into some new obstacles - new furnace so funds for a project will be on hold...

picked the sled up, painted it a little and cleaned some other parts. seat is in getting recovered and that will be it for this year! after a carb clean and new gas it starts second pull every time!
