Saw a few things about longer front suspension travel for the vmax. Like an extra 1.5 inches and the sled sits higher. Is there somewhere I could still find that?

Not familiar with options for your 95, the trailing sleds theres ALOT of different options. Seems I read something some where about a ski mount mod that would lift it up a little bit but don't remember the details. You could check on VMAX4.com as well, even if you don't have the 4 banger I think suspension was the same. Another popular mod I have heard of for your 95 is a hydraulic brake conversion.

It was something about taking away the sit in that they have but you change out the springs and put a couple other parts on. On a couple other sites people were saying bender use to make a kit. I would like to do it to mine

Do the opposite and cut out material ?
-TSS Lowering
If you take the cans off the struts on a TSS sled you will see a kind of stepped washer at the bottom of the spring. The step is about 3/4" or so depending on the model. The OD on the washer is where the bottom of the spring rides. The ID on this washer is where the top of the strut rides. Without the ID the strut would go right up inside the spring.
A lowering tube is nothing more than this same stepped washer with a greater distance between the OD and ID lips. You can make your own lowering tubes by cutting this washer and welding in more tubing to increase the distance between the OD and ID lips. 1" added lowers you 1 ". 2" added lowers you 2", etc.

A skid out of a 97 vmax xt is a direct bolt in and will raise you up in the rear and give more range of motion. Some guys use drop brackets to raise the rear of sled but that's all it does, same ride just higher. The front I have no idea.

I have 2 inch drop brackets now and going to change them for 3. I was trying to find away for the front. More clearance would really be a big plus for where I live
