How big a job is it to make the belly pan brace from a Viper fit the SRX chassis? I think I read a post last winter that all that needed to be done was drill a hole somewhere but could someone verify that for me?
Plus can somebody confirm that the Viper braces are aluminum vs the steel ones that the SRX comes with, otherwise swapping them would be pointless. Thanks.

There is a little pounding and bending to get them to fit. Then reddrill some holes. I did it once was some work. Had to sand and polish to hide marks.

Thanks guys, this was one of those ideas I had come to me while looking at light weight parts but if it's going to be a pain to do I may pass for all the weight I'd save by changing only these. If I had a set of aluminum trailing arms and all the front end parts to continue with the light weight theme then it might make a difference but this is just a trail sled.Yeah I know every ounce you can shave off will help but ............... we'll see.
