I was wondering if a crank from a 2001 srx 700 would fit a 1998 srx 600? please help, I think it would but not sure.-garth

i will but the end bearings are different been going thru this with my 2000 still need crank and cases

NO, they dont interchange
The end crank bearings are differnt from 98-99 and the 2000 and newer, you could use the crank, but you would have to machine the case for the wider bearing and install a dowel stop for the race of bearing. The bearing is basicly a 1 piece design and the 98-99 is a smaller 2 bearing set up. I have a very nice 98-99 crank, bearings all good, rods all good, needs nothing but installed, I dont want to sell it but will trade you for the 2000-up crank if its in perfect shape also. I was keeping this for a spare crank for the race sled, but its a 2000 engine, so it would help out both of us.
