Im trying to get my and grip off because i want to swap my black dash to a blue one rivets drilled out but that bad dog is on there good. Anybody got any tricks to help me out?

Try and heat the grip up with a heat gun, might loosen up the glue.

i usually take a air blow gun and blow between the grip and the bars. usually inflates the grip and allows it to be pulled off easily

I have sprayed brake and parts cleaner in them to help loosen them.

I remember reading on here years ago about taking the wire leads going to each grip individually and put like 24v to them instead of 12v.This will soften the glue too and allow the grip to be pulled off.

Thanks for the tips guys. Next day when iput the blue can down and shut the idiot switch off i realized i just need to undo oil and throttle cables at block pull bars off with assembly complete. Off to a more productive evening now
