Just bought new skis recently, finally got them on the other day and noticed there is lots of play which will obviously cause darting. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Ok thanks, I guess I have a bit of reading to do...lol!
Have you checked to see where the play is actually coming from? Are you sure its in the new skiis? Too much play between the ski bolt and ski bushings? Spindle bushings?
You will have to do a little investigating to find whats causing the play before you can figure out what needs to be done to eliminate it.

Well, I had a closer look and realized the bolts that hold the ski saddle to the spindle are too long. They are from my apex skis and the threads don't go down far enough on the bolt for the nut to actually tighten against the saddle.

this is the space im talking about, not sure if the saddle walls will squeeze in a little bit with the right size bolt or not....

it is hard to squeeze the saddles in..you can use an impact but may risk stripping the threads or snapping the blot.I try and get a thin washer in there and then tighten the bolt normally.

on all the ski's i have the bolt tightens up that space. Try a washer like blue said or the right ski bolt.
