I am looking at a replacement hood for the Viper. I have some concerns about the shipping. Seller proposed using a Greyhound bus. I have never done this. Anyone else have experiance with this type of shipping???? Thanks Al

I have shipped on greyhound and it went pretty good. They are very difficult to deal with if you have damage. I even purchased their insurance--they did end up paying for the damage but made it a very difficult process. With that said, if I needed to ship a hood I would use Grayhound again and pack it really well.

I have gotten a couple of them shipped via greyhound, one from jdviper. As long as you put something over the painted side like foam or bubble wrap you should have no problems. they dont handle the stuff like ups and usps does it just goes under the bus on next available bus that has room so its not packed in tight. I didnt have either one damaged.
I have also shipped car fenders thru them with no issues so I would say go for it, they are alot cheaper for a large item.

I've used Greyhound for large items as well with no trouble. worst part for me was getting to the bus station for pick-up before they close.
