Silly question...I went to flip my shock brackets tonight...raised the front of the srx 600 and stuck a jack stand under the front bumper. Bad move...split the bumer in half. So where is a safe place to lift? I am assuming that a 2x6 or similar under the motor and a floor jack?

Thats what i would do bud. I put my sled on a shelf above my other sled by lifting from front bumper havent snapped one yet thank god lol

I usually grab the bumper, Lift, slide milk crate under with one of my feet. Floor jack should be fine with anything in between to stop the metal on metal contact. Shouldn't hurt anything just using the jack but may scrape belly pan up.

buy a sled lift, much safer to work on the sled and easier on the back, got one for 175$ from royal distributing, aslo good for atvs

milk crates are the way to go. Ive had the same ones for years and they can hold hundreds of pounds

flipping mounts

Use jack with a board under the belly pan just behind where the radius rods bolt to the center of the frame. Stay as close to the radius rods as you can and it won't damage anything.
From experience...I flipped the shock mounts on my SRX and both cracked. We put a lot of miles on so your experience may differ. Just be aware of it. I ended up putting extensions on my Ohlins and buying new mounts and put them on the stock way.

the one i bought is the exact same. make it or buy it, its a must for working on and under sleds safely
