My 00 SRX has been running at 8700 r.p.m. when I nail it and it comes back down too 8500 and I believe it is overrevving. I do have a heal clicker clutch kit but was curious if there is something very easy to do this to bring the r.p.m.s back down. I know on Cats you just change the postion in the secondary spring. Is this the same with yammie? Thanks

8500 rpm solid at wide open throttle is where you should be. You can adjust for rpm,s by adjusting secondary belt tension but it ain,t the proper way to do it. It will cost you in acceleration or downshift. You "ONLY" lower rpm,s by
using a softer primary spring
adding more mass to the weights!

if you have heel clickers just add a little more heel weight to get the initial stab down to 8500
