what is the difference between the model year cylinders and heads and how do you tell which they are?

8dn-00 are 98-99 cylinders
8dn-10 are 2000-02 cylinders, very slightly differnt porting, better then 98-99 does as far as stock is concerned,but its not a giant differance hp wise.
heads same way as numbers go, the 98-99 have a lower compression then the 2000-02 does.

just wondering can you use like 2 of one and one of the other on the same motor as long as you jet correctly? or is that a big no no.......
