Im looking at an '04 viper le with reverse and e/s, 5700 miles, original track and in very good shape, its the black edition. Wondering what a decent price would be? I got a pretty good idea and considering it will need a track shortly was just looking for a little advice on price?? The guy says his bottom dollar is $3000, but with the track being original I was thinking more towards the 2800 range?? I really want this sled, so let me know your thoughts, thanks alot!!

With those miles and needing a track, I wouldn't be above $2500 on it. I sold mine (same exact sled) with less miles and a cover with it for 2750 a couple years ago.

Yea $3000 way high. $2500 should be starting point. Great sled and a hard one to find but not worth $3000, and as viperking pointed out his had less miles. 5700 is getting up there.

Your coming into the wrong time to be looking for a deal. I picked up a 04 Viper S late last winter/early spring. I got a SMOKIN DEAL at $1350. E start, Ohlins, 144 Hartman extension with powder pro's. Go to KBB.com, they have a snowmobile option. Enter your zip code. Will have retail value (usually a little high) and have a trade in value (usually a lil low) for your area.

Best to show up with cash in hand if you want to make an offer. If it's nice it's worth 3K IMO. I personally wouldn't care what KBB said, they pull numbers out of the air. How many others do you see for sale? I'd guess it's a sellers market for black '04 Viper ER's. If it were a standard blue '02 then you'd have a lot more room to negotiate, generally speaking.
